Every nation on earth is going through troubles of some kind, be it political, religious or many different forms of witchcraft. Therefore, this is a call for prayer. For all nations to pray for your Church, your country, your government, your families, your friends, for strangers and even for your enemies, that they may turn their hearts over to The KING Of Kings and LORD Of Lords; and also pray for yourself.
Some of you may even ask the question What is Prayer? Prayer is an intimate conversation with The Father, it is a private personal time when you can open up to GOD and come to Him uncovered and just as you are and ask of Him and talk to Him about anything. It is through Prayer that you enter into GOD’s Secret Place, which is a Place where you can be yourself,
you can be honest and open. In GOD’s Secret Place, You are able to enter into The Throne Room Of The Living GOD. Understand that you can only enter into His Presence with humility, with Love, Faith, Respect, and Honor, with Truth and a strong belief in GOD’s Abilities of being able to do absolutely any and everything.
Prayer is an invocation (which means that it is the process of invoking GOD for assistance.) It is the act of calling upon The Living GOD through prayer, which is Heavenly Communication with Him; and if you have the gift of speaking in tongues, then use that gift also, as often as you can. We Pray in order to seek guidance and assistance, and to just be in His Holy Presence.) We Pray in order to seek or to activate a relationship with GOD Himself through deliberate and willful Communication.
Prayer can sometimes be a supplication. Supplication is the attitude that you come before The LORD with on behalf of your sins; Supplication is a humble, earnest, honest and urgent petition; asking GOD for Mercy and for forgiveness; it is an intense entreaty, often with tears for yourself or someone who might be in a desperate situation.
Supplication represents a submissive, deeply emotional request rather than just mere conversation. You are coming to The LORD with your whole heart and in full Faith that your prayers are being heard.
Prayer can also be an intercession, which means the act of intervening or pleading on behalf of another person. It means to go to GOD for different needs, salvation, or the well-being of others. It is often described as "standing in the gap," because you are going to war for that person through prayer. Intercession is acting as a bridge between a person in need and GOD’s Grace. When we interceed, we are doing the work of a Priest, of which we are called to be; keep in mind that we are Kings and Priests; therefore we (meaning all Christians) should walk in our office and be devoted to our Holy Assignment as Priests.
It is always good to lean on GOD’s Word when praying personally. Some people use Psalm 121:1-8 “I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from The LORD, which made Heaven and earth. He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: He that keepeth thee will not slumber. Behold, He that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. The LORD Is thy Keeper: The LORD Is thy Shade upon thy right hand. The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night. The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: He shall preserve thy soul. The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.”
Many strengthen their prayers by agreeing and believing Psalm 91 and also the 23rd Psalm. Many Pray The LORD’s Prayer, which is the manner of Prayer that Jesus taught us to pray in Matthew 6:9-13 “After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father (you noticed that Jesus teaches us to call GOD Father, because The Holy Spirit has made it known to us that we are His Sons and Daughters; therefore we should address Him as Abba Father)
which art in Heaven, (Heaven Is The Dwelling Place of GOD and soon His Dwelling Place will be in us; just keep in mind that Heaven is wherever GOD Is,) Hallowed be Thy Name. (GOD’s Name Is Holy, It Is Separate from all others, there’s no comparison, His Name Is so Holy that even The Chrildren Of Israel wouldn’t even pronounce His Name, they would refer to GOD as, HaShem, which simply means, The Name. They called Him The Name, but Jesus made it possible for us to call Him Abba or Father.
Jesus continues) Thy Kingdom come. (This is the part of the prayer that we address what is important to The Father; and that’s His Kingdom in us and upon this earth.) Thy Will be done in earth, as it is in Heaven. (GOD wants to rule the earth and the Heavens with us.
This is His Will. He wants His Kingdom to be established on earth; and for Heaven and earth to be One; then shall His Will be done in Heaven and in Earth forever.)
Give us this day our daily bread. (This is when we ask for our daily provision and besides having all of our natural needs met, the main provision we seek is our daily feeding of Jesus Christ, The Bread Of Life. Bread Is a sustainer, it sustained the Children Of Israel all throughout the Old and New Testaments, when many of them traveled, they made sure they had plenty of bread to sustain them until they made it to the next town or city where they could buy more supplies.
Now we partake of The Body and Blood Of Jesus Christ, Who Is The Bread From Heaven, He Sustains us through our journey in this earthly natural realm; so that we can live forever in His Presence in His Kingdom Realm. His Body Is The Bread that sustains us and The Wine represents His Blood that gives us life on into The Heavenly Realm. The next part of our prayer deals with forgiveness; as Jesus goes on to say) And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. (some translations will say Forgive us our tresspasses as we forgive those who tresspass against us. Forgiveness is very important. Jesus goes on to say) And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: (or from the evil one, meaning satan and the demons that do his will. Jesus ends the Prayer in praise) For Thine Is The Kingdom, and The Power, and The Glory, for ever. Amen. ”
We are to Pray in full faith and confidene To GOD The Father in The Name Of The LORD Jesus Christ and with Love and Faith toward Him.
